Former Waltham City Councilor Sworn In As Lawrence City Clerk
Diane LeBlanc served on the Waltham City Council for ten years and ran for mayor in 2019.

WALTHAM, MA — Former Waltham City Councilor and mayoral candidate Diane Leblanc has been sworn in as the next city clerk for the City of Lawrence.
LeBlanc was a member of the Waltham City Council for ten years, serving as both vice president and president during that time, and challenged incumbent mayor Jeannette McCartney in the 2019 election.
A double graduate of Northeastern University, Leblanc holds a bachelor's of science and master's of public administration. She also completed a special executive program at the MIT Sloan School of Management and has nearly 40 years experience working for the National Archives and Records Administration.
