Free Parking in Waltham Lots This Saturday
The city is encouraging support of local businesses on Small Business Saturday.
WALTHAM, MA – The City of Waltham announced Monday that parking will be free in all lots on Saturday, Nov. 26.
Waltham is making parking free throughout the day to encourage people to support local businesses on Small Business Saturday.
Created by American Express, the first Small Business Saturday took place in 2010 and encouraged people across the country to support small, local businesses.

The next year, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution to support the day and by 2015, an estimated 95 million headed out to shop on Small Business Saturday.
