Global Yoga Therapy Day. Around the World and in Waltham.

Hundreds of Yoga Therapists from 27 countries will be participating. Check out free events in Waltham.

Yoga has become one of the world’s most popular exercises but on August 14, Yoga Therapists around the world are trying to lift awareness beyond yoga as exercise, with the message: If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. Medical research has show yoga to improve symptoms and quality of life in over 100 dis-eases.

TriYoga Boston in Waltham will be hosting a complementary Free the Spine class at 6:30 pm. This is a group class for those suffering from back pain. There will also be free individual yoga therapy sessions offered during the day (a few slots are still available, check our website (http://www.TriYogaBoston.org). “Many of my students find relief from lower back pain after their first class or session,” said Brahmi Gold-Bernstein, Director of TriYoga Boston and a certified yoga therapist. “One of our yoga therapy clients who has found significant relief from severe back pain and sciatica is sharing his story.”
