GoFundMe Campaign Remains Open for Family of Steve Kanode
Help the fund reach its $45,000 goal, which will go toward supporting the Kanode family.
WALTHAM, MA – A GoFundMe campaign launched as Steve Kanode battled cancer will live on with a new mission – to support his wife and two sons.
Kanode, assistant principal of Stanley Elementary School, passed away last week after a years-long fight. He was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in February of 2013.
A GoFundMe was created last January to help the Kanode family as Steve entered the next phase of the disease. To date, it has raised $24,975 of its $45,000 goal.
