Is Gourmet Sandwich Chain Jimmy John's Coming to Waltham?

The sandwich chain Jimmy John’s may be opening in Waltham.

According to Boston Restaurants, it is proposed that the restaurant open at 475 Winter St., taking over where Boloco once was. Boston Restaurants reports that Jimmy John’s moved a step closer to opening, approved by the Ordinance and Rules Committee.

Jimmy John’s opened in 1983 in Illinois, and there are currently more than 2,000 locations across the country. There are four Jimmy John’s restaurants in Boston.
