Learn The History Of Your Home In Swamspcott
The Swampscott Historical Commission will hold a free virtual seminar where residents can learn to discover the history of their house.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A town first settled nearly 400 years ago is going to have a lot of history.
While your home might not go back quite that far, there is a good chance that most construction in the town has a story behind it.
The Swampscott Historical Commission is looking to help residents learn those stories through a free virtual seminar Friday night.

"If your house could speak, what tales would it tell?" the invitation asks. "Of heroes and villains, taciturn sea captains, or shocking drama? Or of joyous family events, and personal moments of previous occupants.
