Hungry Bald Eagle Feasts in Waltham (PHOTO)
The picture of a bald eagle feeding on a Canada goose was submitted by a local couple to the Waltham News Tribune.

WALTHAM, MA – Bald eagle sightings tend to be rare, but they apparently love Waltham. Perhaps in a show of patriotism ahead of President's Day one decided to appear in the city this week.
Local couple Didi and Phil Moser captured a picture of the bird feeding on the remain of a Canada goose Monday and submitted it to the Waltham News Tribune.
Bald eagles often pop up in the Watch City. On Thursday, a resident tweeted that she saw one near the Shaws by the Charles River Path:

And last summer, photographer Jonathan Model snapped a series of images of a bald eagle before and after taking flight. According to the city, the birds like to hang out by the Charles.
