Hyde Park Man Arrested on Heroin, Cocaine Trafficking Charges

Police observed Wilson Medina allegedly conducting a drug deal last week.

WALTHAM, MA - A Hyde Park man faces criminal trafficking charges for allegedly selling heroin and cocaine in Waltham.

Wilson Medina was arrested March 2 after an investigation by the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force, according to the Waltham News Tribune. Officers observed Medina allegedly conduct a drug deal in the Prospect Hill area of the city.

Upon stopping him in his car, police found the 27-year-old to be in possession of heroin, prompting a full search of his car. Officers discovered 30 bags of heroin and nine bags of cocaine in the vehicle, the Waltham News Tribune said.

Medina was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, distributing a Class A drug and heroin/morphine/opium trafficking.
