I-95 North In Waltham Overnight Lane Closures: MassDOT

Watch traffic as two lanes are closed on I-95 for bridge work overnight.

WALTHAM, MA — If you're headed out on I-95 in Waltham watch out for some lane closures, which could impact the evening traffic.

Overnight beginning at 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, through approximately 5 a.m.,Wednesday, February 14, the two left lanes will be closed on Route 128/I-95 northbound in the area of the bridge that carries vehicles over the MBTA railroad tracks in Waltham, The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced.

These traffic impacts are to allow MassDOT crews and contractors to safely conduct bridge deck repairs. These operations have been planned in accordance with weather conditions and are subject to change.

Signage will be in place to guide drivers during this time. MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes, if possible, to avoid delays. Drivers that must travel through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution.
