ICYMI: Ruth's Chris Waltham Gets Official Opening Date

WALTHAM, MA – A New Orleans-based steakhouse that has set the Waltham restaurant scene abuzz since it was awarded a coveted liquor license last summer finally has an official opening date.

Ruth's Chris will open at 500 Totten Pond Rd. on Jan. 23, according to the "Locations" page on the restaurant's website. The Waltham location will be the chain's second in Massachusetts – Ruth's Chris has a restaurant at Old City Hall in Boston – and 150th overall.

According to Eater Boston, the restaurant sits 292 in close to 10,000 square feet of space and was designed by Boston's premier interior designer Taniya Nayak. In addition to standard prime beef cuts, Ruth's Chris also serves seafood, soups, salads and other standard steakhouse fare.

Ruth's Chris will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. Mon.-Fri., 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and 4 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
