What did U.S. News have to say about Waltham High?

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham High School is unranked in U.S. News and World Report's annual rankings of America's best high schools released this week.
The number one high school in Massachusetts is Boston Latin School.
Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college, the magazine said. Rankings are based on several factors including performance compared to expectations, graduation rates and college readiness performance.

These are Waltham's vital stats, according to the survey:
- 11:1 student-teacher ratio
- 30 college readiness score
- 36 percent participate in AP exams
- 79 percent pass AP exams
- 72 percent proficiency in math
- 90 percent proficiency in English
- 85 percent graduation rate
