ICYMI: Waltham UNO Pizzeria Has Closed
The pizza joint's closure appears to be sudden and stealthy.
WALTHAM, MA – UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Waltham is closed, and the shuttering appears to be very abrupt, according to multiple reports. Boston Restaurant Talk reported the news Monday, citing a source within the restaurant industry, and a tweet the day before from @EyesOnWaltham confirms the closure.
The chain specializes in deep-dish pizza and casual Italian fare. Despite its closures in Waltham this month and Cambridge in September, the company doesn't want for Massachusetts locations – according to Boston Restaurant Talk, it still has three Boston restaurants and spots in Braintree, Burlington, Dedham, Framingham, Revere, Swampscott and Woburn, and Uno's Restaurant Holdings has its headquarters in West Roxbury.
Uno Pizzeria & Grill was located at 155 Bear Hill Road.
