ICYMI: Waltham's Biagio Express Closes

WALTHAM, MA – Biagio Express, the grab-and-go alternative to Moody Street's Biagio Ristorante & Bar, closed its doors over the weekend.

Boston Restaurant Talk first reported that the takeout spot is no longer in operation, and Monday the restaurant confirmed the closure to Patch on Facebook.

Biagio Express first opened in 2015 in the former location of Mimi's Roast Beef, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

Its fare echoed that of the high-end Italian restaurant Biagio, which will remain in business. Biagio Express was located at 3 Carter St., across from Biagio Ristorante & Bar at 123 Moody St.
