Man Killed In Waltham Crash

WALTHAM, MA — A 25-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash on River Street near the Watertown line, according to police.

Police and fire officials were called to the scene around 2:45 a.m., Sunday. Police said the vehicle was badly damaged, and the man was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, police said.

Police have not released the man's name and are waiting to notify his family.
