Mighty Squirrel Craft Brewery, Tap Room To Open Soon In Waltham
The craft brewery with the zippy name is slated to open in Waltham near Belmont and Watertown in early December.
WALTHAM, MA — After months of construction and prep, craft brew fans in the Watch City will be able to get a pint at Mighty Squirrel Tap room next month.
Almost two years ago Mighty Squirrel the craft brewery that started with some low-carb high protein sport beer (yep) and eventually transformed to more traditional craft beer, promised to set up shop in the Boston area. They got the ZBA approval in March for a 23,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility with its own taproom, and hoped to open by October near the border with Belmont and Watertown.
Although there were a few unforeseen delays, as seems to be the case in nearly every new restaurant opening, the gang at Mighty Squirrel are ready to open next month, according to posts on social media.
