Natural Gas Line Struck on Moody Street
Firefighters responded to a struck gas line on Tuesday morning.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Waltham firefighters responded to reports of a natural gas line that was struck at 275 Moody St.
According to reports on Waltham Fire Department Emergency Notifications, the fire department found that a construction crew working on the Downtown Waltham sidewalk project had struck a line.

The buildings in the area were evacuated, and National Grid shut down the gas while crews made repairs. After levels were checked, people were allowed back into the buildings.
