New Waltham Grill To Open Next Month

If you are hungry for burriots and nachos, then next motnh you can add one more place to satisfy that craving.

, which announced it was coming to Main Street, plans to open on Feb. 9, according to General Manager Marc Hugo.

The new location will add 25-30 jobs to the city, according to Hugo, which is still looking to hire staff.

Also, the new location will mean an unknown amount of additional tax revenue for the city since it is filling the spot that Tony’s Did previously.

While the eatery plans to focus on sit-down service, the location is exploring offering catering services, Hugo said. The manager said the Waltham location almost located in Boston, until it discovered the Tony D’s site.

“We’re going to really bring the apperance up,” Hugo said.  

For now, the hours will be 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily, but those could change. Hugo said plenty of parking is available near the restaurant, including two bus stops.

Moe’s Southwest Grill is one of the latest additions to the Waltham restaurant scene, including , and plans for , a second location and a .
