Obituary: Sean Lord, 36, Lifelong Waltham Resident

Sean B. Lord, of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, Sept. 15, 2014, in his home at the age of 36.

Born on April 10, 1978 in Waltham, beloved son of Shirley A. (Dagostino) Lord of Waltham and the late Francis B. Lord Jr., Sean was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

Sean was a graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1996. He was employed in home maintenance throughout his life.

He enjoyed the outdoors, both hunting and camping.

In addition to his loving mother Shirley, he is survived by his brother Waltham Police Officer Adam J. Lord and his wife Melissa of Waltham, his grandfather Gennaro Dagostino of Waltham, his uncle Gerry Dagostino and his wife Annmarie of Waltham, his godmother Sarah Dagostino, many cousins and close friends.

Cherished grandson of the late Virginia Rose Dagostino, Francis B. Lord Sr. and Rosemary Lord.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapel, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, on Friday morning, Sept. 19, at 8:30 a.m. with a mass of Christian burial in celebration of Sean’s life at Saint Mary’s Church, 145 School St., Waltham, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday prior to the funeral mass from 8:30-10 a.m. Parking attendants on duty.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
