Pedestrian Injured by Runaway Trailer in Waltham
A woman was brought to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver faces charges.

A senior citizen was injured on Wednesday when she was struck by a tractor trailer in Waltham.
A police officer shortly after 9 a.m. on Aug. 5 came upon an accident on School Street. A 75-year-old woman was walking on the sidewalk on the south side of School street when a trailer came detached from a white box truck and struck her, pinning her underneath.

Waltham fire extracted the woman, and she was transported to the hospital with a broken leg and non life-threatening injuries.
The driver, from Randolph, will be charged with operating with a suspended license, defective equipment, and possible other charges.
