Peter Koutoujian, Sr., Longtime Waltham City Clerk, Passes

Statement of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office:

It is with great sadness and deep regret that the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of Peter Koutoujian, Sr., father of current Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian. Koutoujian was a lifelong public servant in Waltham, including 30 years as city clerk.

He was also an active member of greater Boston’s Armenian-American community, as well as a number of civic organizations in Waltham. The thoughts and prayers of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office are with the entire Koutoujian family during this difficult time.
