Police: Armed Home Intruders in Waltham Claimed To Be FBI Agents

Two men invaded a Bedford Street home Saturday night.

A Bedford Street man heard banging on his door at about 11:25 p.m. Saturday and when he asked who was there, a male said, “FBI search warrant,” according to police.

When the man opened his door, at 52 Bedford St. in Waltham, he was met by two masked men. One of the men demanded money, and the other pistol whipped him several times in the head, police said.

The suspects then fled after the resident said he had called 911.

The resident was treated and released at a local hospital for his head injury.

The resident described the suspects as black or Hispanic males in their 20s.
