Woman Hospitalized After Being Pinned Between Cars in Waltham

Police said the 66-year-old sustained serious injuries to her leg.

WALTHAM, MA – A 66-year-old Watertown woman was hospitalized with serious injuries Tuesday after being pinned between two Jeeps on Warren Street.

Police said she had just parked her car, a white Jeep, outside of 42 Warren St. and exited before a black Jeep swerved driving down the street and crashed into the back of her car.

The collision pushed the white Jeep into the car in front of it, pinning the woman between the two vehicles, according to police.

Emergency crews worked to extricate the woman, who was taken to the hospital with extensive leg trauma.

The driver of the black Jeep, a 42-year-old Watertown woman, and a passenger, a 5-year-old child, were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
