'Master Splinter' Reunited With Owner After Being Hit by a Car in Waltham

The dog's owner picked him up from the hospital Sunday evening.

WALTHAM, MA – A pup from Newton was reunited with his owner Sunday evening, hours after being hit by a car in Waltham.

Police said "Master Splinter," a Pomeranian/chihuahua mix, was identified late Sunday. His owner picked him up from the hospital Sunday night.

The dog was struck in the area of 375 Totten Pond Road around 1:30 p.m. and transported to MSPCA in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle is unknown.
