The RTN Federal Credit Union Employees Community Outreach Committee sponsored and served dinner on July 29 for nearly 80 men and women at the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham. The Lodge is one of a handful of non-profit organizations and charities the committee supports annually through personal donations and contributions of their free time, according to the announcement.
“This is an activity we look forward to and embrace because we see firsthand the need that exists in our own backyard,” said RTN Assistant Regional Branch Manager Robin Hartnett and committee chair, in a press release. “It is a privilege to serve the people and experience the appreciation they have for such a simple act of kindness.”
