RTN Federal Credit Union Awards Scholarships to College-Bound Students
RTN awards three scholarships, totaling $10,000, to incoming college freshmen whose parents are credit union members.

WALTHAM, MA – RTN Federal Credit Union announced this year's recipients of its James A. Burley, Jr. Scholarship Awards on Thursday.
Canton resident Sarah Wilkinson received the top prize of $5,000; Alexandra Cataldo, of Waltham, was awarded $3,000; and Andover's Grant Dolan took home $2,000.
Each year, RTN presents three scholarships, totaling $10,000, to college-bound students whose parents are credit union members.

The award is named after RTN's late chairman and director, James A. Burley, Jr., who served the union for more than three decades.
Recipients are selected based on their written responses to an essay question; this year, applicants were asked to choose a person or persons they admire and explain why.

"The Burley Scholarship reflects our investment in the next generation of credit union members," said Richard Wright, RTN treasurer and CEO. "RTN is proud to play a role in helping to make the goal of higher education more financially accessible for our member families."
