People poured in to The Mad Raven Wednesday evening to support their Ward 6 Councillor, Sean Durkee. His main goal was not simply fundraising for the inevitable out-of-pocket expenses of being a city servant. He said he wanted to "develop a relationship with Ward 6 residents and businesses." That sentiment was strong as The Mad Raven buzzed with family, friends, neighbours, and constituents.

While local restaurants and other places of business that serve the public have been suffering during the COVID pandemic, The Mad Raven was bustling with positive energy. Sean Durkee was adamant that he would continue to support businesses in his ward throughout any crisis. By booking and not cancelling, he proved it.

"Honesty and integrity, calling it like it is without worrying whose feelings he hurts." This sentiment was echoed by his supporters throughout the evening.
