Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Effect
The storm could bring damaging winds and destructive hail. The warning is in effect for Central Middlesex and Worcester counties.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect through 5:45 p.m. on Thursday for Central Worcester and Central Middlesex Counties, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm is capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph as well as destructive hail. The storm, at 5:27 p.m., was located near Marlborough, moving east at 40 mph.
Areas that will be particularly impacted include Framingham, Marlborough, Shrewsbury, Worcester, Westford, Acton, Ludlow, Hudson, Grafton, Westborough, Sudbury, Holden, Hopkinton, Holliston, Ashland and Northborough.
