Singer Jim Plunkett Headlining Waltham PAL Fundraiser
Plunkett would like to stress that he is not the Heisman winner from Stanford.

WALTHAM, MA – Local singer and comedian Jim Plunkett will headline this Saturday's Police Athletic League fundraiser in Waltham.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at the American Legion, 215 Waverly Oaks Rd. Tickets are $20 and will benefit the PAL's athletic programs throughout the year, which offer Waltham's youth the opportunity to establish a relationship with police officers.
Plunkett – not to be confused with the 1970 Heisman Trophy winner from Stanford – has been entertaining New England for decades. On his website, he promises "he'll get you to sing and his DJ will get you to dance."
