Stacey Gallagher Tully Named Executive Director of Healthy Waltham
Tully has been a familiar face around Waltham for decades and recently ran for state representative.

WALTHAM, MA – Healthy Waltham announced this week the appointment of Stacey Gallagher Tully as its next executive director. Tully joins Healthy Waltham with decades of experience in health, human resources, sales and administration.
She is perhaps best known as a dance and fitness instructor at the Waltham YMCA, Senior Citizen Center and various other gyms, as well as her work on Dancing With the Waltham Stars, for which she won a 2014 Waltham Unsung Hero Award.
Last year, she challenged state Rep. Thomas Stanley for the 9th Middlesex District seat.

"I am interested in doing more for the people in our community and would love and enjoy doing that with a focus on health and wellness," she said in a statement.
Healthy Waltham extended thanks to Pam Hess for helping during the transition as she begins her new role as executive director of Land's Sake Farm in Weston and said it is looking forward to Tully's leadership going forward.

"We have been so impressed with Stacey’s enthusiasm, energy, and creative ideas for expanding Healthy Waltham’s reach in the community," board member Kaytie Dowcett said in a statement. "We look forward to supporting her as she shepherds us into our next phase as an organization."
Healthy Waltham promotes healthy lifestyles through educational and collaborative programs, including healthy cooking and gardening, physical activity and involvement in open space within the community.
