Summer Safety Awareness Event

This event highlights tips for the pool, window and car safety, and kids can explore emergency vehicle.

With summer in full swing, Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan, along with first responders, will be at The Shops at Chestnut Hill to promote MDAO’s annual “Summer Safety” educational campaign for parents, caretakers and children on how to be safe this season, according to an announcement.

The event takes place on Tuesday, July 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Shops at Chestnutt Hill in Newton.

MDAO’s summer safety public awareness campaign aims to prevent accidental child deaths or serious injury by promoting water safety, preventing window falls and reminding parents to never leave a child alone in a car.
