Sunset Show Band Shines

With streaks of sundown painting long lines across the lush lawn the Lyman Estate began filling with fans of velvet sounds.

A pre-movie promise filled the veranda of The Vale with welcoming musicians and another summer season of Waltham High's Show Band.

The cram jammed musicians met July with the same same vigor and vibes as prior performances opening another enchanting summer evening under leadership of long time director Ron Vanaria.

A smooth groove ran a pea stone path around the main house, brass flowing over fans in folding chairs pets and picnics at their feet.

Tunes glowed from the gathered side guys and girls like Footprint, Leo, De Janeiro and the fun Conjunction Function. The jazzy vibes filled up the bountiful backyard framed by bricks and daises.

As always the lawn sitters were drenched in sweet solos and rich rhythms matching up just right with the magic of the glassy mansion.
