These Waltham Bus Stops Could Get Axed

WALTHAM, MA – Eight bus stops in Waltham are on the chopping block, according to the city. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has slated eight for elimination, due to low ridership and accessibility issues.

However, the decision isn't final – MassDOT will be accepting feedback through April 18 about the proposed removals. Comments may be submitted by email at serviceplanning@mbta.com or by phone at 617-222-3200 (TTY 617-222-5146).

If elimination is approved, the stop will be removed in June.
