Vistaprint to Bring More Than 1,000 Jobs to Waltham

The technology and business services company now known as Cimpress plans to move to the city later this year.

Waltham is gaining a billion-dollar company as the former Vistaprint will move its headquarters to the city later this year, a move that could spell more jobs for city residents, the Boston Business Journal reported.

The technology company is now known as Cimpress and plans to move its 1,000 employees into a 302,000-square-foot building at 275 Wyman St. at the end of the summer, the journal reported. The move is part of a larger expansion plan for the company, which now has the capacity to add 600 new jobs. Currently, there are 100 jobs available.

“This (move) gives us the opportunity to expand significantly,” said the company’s founder and CEO Robert Keane in an interview.
