"Voice of the Turtle" Brings Middle Eastern Music to Waltham
The Neighborhood Concert Series at Powers Music School presents "Voice of the Turtle" on Friday, April 10, at 1:00 p.m., Waltham COA.

The Neighborhood Concert Series at Powers Music School presents the trio “Voice of the Turtle” on Friday, April 10, at 1:00 p.m., Waltham Council on Aging, 488 Main Street, with faculty members Lisle Kulbach and Jay Rosenberg and guest artist Ian Pomerantz.
The trio will introduce audiences to the vibrant music of the cultural descendants of the Sephardic Jewish community and lead the audience in song and percussive exercises. The audience will discover the sounds of several Middle Eastern instruments including the ‘ud, riqq, dumbek, kamanja, bouzouk, and more.
