Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Waltham Festivals

Sign up for the Watch City Steampunk Festival or Riverfest. Plus, a rundown of this weekend's Steampunk Festival.

WALTHAM, MA – Two of Waltham's most popular festivals are coming up in June and July, and the city is asking residents to volunteer. The festivities kick off with the Watch City Steampunk Festival this Saturday, May 13, followed by Waltham Riverfest Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17.

The Steampunk Festival is an all-day affair, and volunteers may select shifts in two-hour increments. To sign up, click here.

There will also be family-friendly Steampunk Adventure Shows at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.


Waltham Riverfest returns Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17. Volunteers are needed for event setup and to act as festival greeters. To register for one or more, click here.

Details on music acts and artists attending the festival will be available soon, but as usual, patrons will have the opportunity to take part in a pet parade, rent canoes and kayaks and go on a guided walking tour.
