Waltham-Based Clarks Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

WALTHAM, MA — Clarks Originals, with its USA headquarters currently based in Waltham, has announced the appointment of Jonathan Ram as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will join the company in April.

“Clarks is an iconic brand with a rich history in shoe making craftsmanship, expertise and sustainability,” said Ram in a statement. Significant progress has been made in the last year and my focus is on taking the company to the next level of growth and success. We have a lot to do, and I am excited to begin the journey.”

Jonathan ‘Jon’ Ram, born and raised in Montreal, Canada, has extensive footwear and apparel leadership experience. His most recent position was Group President, Global Activewear at HanesBrands, Inc., where he led the growth of the global activewear business across multiple brands and businesses.

Before that, Jon spent sixteen years at New Balance where over the years he ran the LATAM, EMEA, and North American businesses.
