Waltham-Based Construction Firm Awarded Woburn Elementary School Contract
Hurld-Wyman Elementary School is projected to be under budget and is scheduled to open September 2018.

WALTHAM, MA – The construction contract for Woburn's Hurld-Wyman Elementary School has been awarded to Waltham-based CTA Construction Managers.
The project is expected to break ground later in February and is projected to be under budget, CTA Construction said. The 71,000 square-foot elementary school, designed by DiNisco Design Partnership, projects to cost $25 million, $750,000 under the city’s estimated budget of $25.75 million.
“We’re very proud to be selected to build the new Hurld-Wyman School – a state-of-the-art facility for Woburn parents, students, and teachers,” said Jeff Hazelwood, a project executive at CTA Construction. “CTA Construction looks forward to bringing a great new school that will be an important part of the Woburn community for decades to come.”
