Waltham Celebrates Completion Of 3 Playground Renovation Projects
Three ribbon cutting ceremonies were held Thursday to celebrate the completion of Prospect Hill, McDonald, and Thompson Hill Playgrounds.

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham held three ribbon cutting ceremonies Thursday to celebrate the completion of three playground renovation projects.
The newly completed playgrounds include Prospect Hill Park Playground at 314 Totten Pond Road, McDonald Playground at 8 Cutter Street, and Thompson Playground at 85 Charles Street.
"These projects were a collaborative effort between the Waltham Recreation Department, Planning Department, Public Works Department, Mayor’s Office, Waltham City Council, and the City of Waltham community who offered their feedback and support,” said the city in a Facebook post. Thank you to all who participated in the planning and development!“

Each of the three playgrounds offers a futsal/basketball court, spray park, adult workout area, zip-line, and a racetrack to bring your own matchbox cars on top of some of the smaller playground equipment.
