WALTHAM, MA — The Council on Aging is preparing to host the first edition of a new, three-part series of events that hopes to aid Waltham seniors in the later stages of life.

Billed as "Aging Well in Waltham", the first edition of the series focuses on legal and insurance counseling and is scheduled for Wednesday at 6 to 8 p.m.

"Join a panel of local experts to learn about available resources to help you and your loved ones age well," officials said, noting that a question and answer segment follows each event.

Part two of the series is scheduled for May 3 at 6 to 8 p.m., and focuses on community resources available to seniors.

Part three is scheduled for May 10 at 6 to 8 p.m. and focuses on senior housing options locally.
