Waltham Deals With Traffic Pattern Alteration At Piety Corner
A work zone will be set up in the two southbound lanes of Lexington Street approaching Piety Corner. The project will take three weeks.

FYI - Starting today, 1/31/2024, the contractor working for the MWRA will have a temporary change to the traffic pattern on Lexington Street at Piety Corner for approximately three (3) weeks.

A fixed work zone will be set up in the two southbound lanes of Lexington Street approaching Piety Corner. Lexington Street will be reduced to one lane both northbound and southbound between Piety Corner and Lincoln St. Temporary markings will made on the roadway along with signage and barriers.
Although traffic will be allowed to move in both directions, please expect delays, especially during the morning and evening commutes. Please note - There will be no work on Lexington Street, North of College Farm Rd/Lake St area until this section is complete.
