Waltham Energy Action Committee, Bentley to Screen Dicaprio Doc 'Before the Flood'
The film, co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Academy Award-winner Fisher Stevens, explores the effects of climate change.
WALTHAM, MA – The Waltham Energy Action Committee and Bentley University will host a screening of the climate change documentary "Before the Flood" later this month.
Directed by Academy Award-winner Fisher Stevens and co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, the documentary was a three-year endeavor exploring the impact of climate change around the world. DiCaprio narrates the film over his visits to several regions of the globe, archival footage and conversations with Barack Obama, Pope Francis, John Kerry, Elon Musk and others.
"We wanted to create a film that gave people a sense of urgency, that made them understand what particular things are going to solve this problem," DiCaprio said at the film's premiere in London last October.
