Liz AlJammal was elected to the Waltham School Committee, filling the vacancy left by Kaytie Dowcett, who stepped down in December. In a letter sent to the Waltham News Tribune, Dowcett wrote that she was resigning to avoid any conflicts of interest with her role as executive director of the Waltham Partnership for Youth Leadership.
