Waltham Fire Extinguishes Car Fire

Waltham Fire and Rescue teams have put out a vehicle fire that could have caused a nearby structure damage, according to reports on Twitter.

The teams were sent to the incident around 9:30 a.m. for a report of a car fire with extension into a structure at Calvary and Newton streets.

EMTs cleared the scene and then firefighters checked the structure with a thermal imager and the companies are cleaning up and clearing the scene at post time.
