This Week: Waltham's Overdose Prevention Training Night
Learn about overdose signs and receive training on how to administer Narcan.

WALTHAM, MA – The Waltham Health Department will host its first Substance Use Disorder Support (SUDS) night Feb. 7.
Attendees will be trained to spot the signs and symptoms of an overdose and trained to administer Narcan, a substance designed to counteract the effects of an overdose. Representatives from the Cambridge Needle Exchange will provide training.
The event is free and will be held at the Government Center auditorium, 119 School St., at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to 781-314-3317. Initials may be used when registering.
