Waltham Hero Awards Now Accepting Nominations
Help ensure those who help make the Watch City tick are recognized this year.
WALTHAM, MA – Nominations are now open for he 2017 Waltham Hero Awards, which recognize the unsung members of the community who help drive it forward.
The awards were created by the Waltham Lions Club, in conjunction with Discover Waltham, the Waltham West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and the Waltham Community Access Corporation. The organizations act as a panel of judges and select three to five local heroes from nominees submitted by Waltham residents and businesses.
The awards are divided into three categories – business hero, community hero and unsung hero. Last year's winners were:

Unsung Hero: Bill Wiggins, Yolanda Cellucci
The annual Hero Awards ceremony will take place April 13 at the Forefront Center. Tickets are $50.
