Waltham High Football to Open Playoffs at North Andover

The Waltham High football team will open the playoffs on Halloween night.

Waltham (3-4), the No. 7 seed in the North Division 2 bracket, will be at No. 2 seed North Andover (5-2) for a 7 p.m. game Friday, Oct. 31, in the bracket’s quarterfinals.

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) released its football playoff brackets Sunday.

The winner will face the winner of No. 3 Lincoln-Sudbury and No. 6 Lynn Classical in the bracket’s semifinals.
