Waltham High School Athletics Hall Of Fame 2023 Class Revealed
Field hockey, wrestling, hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball and football are all represented in this year's Hall of Fame class.

WALTHAM, MA — Seven former Waltham High School athletes have been selected for induction into their alma mater's Hall of Fame.
The 2023 class of inductees includes representatives from the school's field hockey, wrestling, hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball and football teams.
The criteria for selection varies dependent on whether a player, team or coach is up for consideration.

Those criteria from the Hall of Fame include:
For a player

- 10 year post-graduate of Waltham High School
- A Record holder, school or state (if applicable)A League All-Star (if applicable)
- A Globe or Herald All-Scholastic
- An All American
- A student at Waltham High at least 3 years
- Exception in case of death
For a coach
- A coach for at least 10 years in system
- Dedication & devotion to Waltham student/athlete or sport
- Positive impact on students
- Retired from coaching (preferred but not mandatory)
- Exception in case of death
For a team
- State Championship/Sectional Championship
- Special Recognition

- Liz Centofanti, class of 2003, field hockey
- Dan Arone, class of 1999, wrestling
- Mike Arone, class of 2003, wrestling
- Allie Hickey, class of 2010, hockey
- Steve Laforest, class of 1982, soccer, basketball, baseball
- Hal Kopp, 1964-1970, football coach
- Boys hockey team, class of 1966, state semi-finalst
