Waltham Hosts Halloween Home Decorating Contest

In an effort to "boo-tify" the city, Waltham is hosting a contest and home tour highlighting the city's most creative and festive residents.

WALTHAM, MA — Holiday home decorations don't have to be kept in the closet until December, and Waltham Recreation officials are trying to prove just that.

The city is hosting a home decorating contest and tour for the Halloween season in hopes that residents will join their crusade to "boo-tify" their community this fall.

To participate, city officials ask that residents take a photo of their Halloween-themed home during both the day and night and email them to kgreeley@city.waltham.ma.us with your name and address.
