Waltham Hosts Public Skating At Veterans Memorial Rink
The skating rink is now open to the public during the week. Here's when you can get on the ice.
WALTHAM, MA — Looking for something to do during the week or across your weekend? How about lacing up those skates?
Waltham has opened public skating hours at Veterans Memorial Skating Rink, 295 Totten Pond Rd., Tuesday through Sunday.
The hours for each day are listed below, but are subject to change "due to school vacation weeks, no school days and special events," officials said.

Here's when you can hit the ice:
- Tuesday: 10 to 11:50 a.m.
- Wednesday: 10 to 11:50 a.m.
- Thursday: 10 to 11:50 a.m.
- Friday: 7 to 8:50 p.m.
- Saturday: 2 to 3:50 p.m.
- Sunday: 2 to 3:50 p.m.
Skates can be both rented and sharpened at the Veterans Memorial skate shop. Renting skates costs $7, while sharpening skates costs $8.
