Waltham to Illustrate Potential Boundaries of High School Construction
Members of the school committee will stand along the boundary lines of the land owned by the school department to illustrate its extent.

WALTHAM, MA – Waltham School Committee members will hold an event next week to illustrate the extent of the land owned by the school department that is being considered for the new high school.
At its October 5 meeting, the committee resolved to have committee members stand along the boundary lines to outline the property on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
The event will begin at 4:30 p.m., and members of the public are invited to attend. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions of the school committee and comment on the potential impact of new construction.

According to the school committee, any planned construction will not spill over onto the 113 acres of conservation land. If the site of the current high school is chosen for the project, work would be done on land already owned by Waltham Public Schools.
